Goodbye Itree

Today is my last day at Itree.

After working at Itree for nearly 4 years (6 if you count casual work), the decision to leave has been one of the hardest to make, but I feel the time has come for me to move on to new challenges.

While at Itree I have worked with a lot of smart and motivated people, on some awesome projects and gained loads of experience.

So what is next for me? On Monday I start contracting as a Unix/Linux Systems Engineer for 6 months, working on a multi-million dollar project that I’ve been following with great interest.

Matthew Jones is an operations engineer, living in Melbourne. He is one half of Infrastructure Coders.
